Yuma Bloodstock was formed by Alfred Tse in 2001 with the assistance of Newmarket trainer Greg Chung. From a background in horseracing journal publishing in Hong Kong, Alfred has been following horseracing from a young age. During his study in Cambridge he enjoyed the close proximity of Newmarket, the "Headquarters of Horseracing", thus developing strong links with the UK racing industry. Alfred now deals with clients from Hong Kong and Macau and is responsible for purchasing bloodstock from sales as well as managing syndicates and broodmares for clients; while consultant Greg Chung mainly acts on behalf of Yuma for acquisition of horses-in-training and advise on bloodstock purchases. We are highly selective in purchasing and we only export a small number of horses to the Far East every year. Our aim is to deliver quality horses that are value for money.
From a small number of purchases in a short period of time, we have delivered over 30 winners with 2 Group winners from around the world, between them they have earned over £1million in prize money, and the numbers are still rising. |
